Q: Is Pine Mountain Sports open right now? Yes! Mostly… In order to keep our customers and staff safely distanced our showroom is closed to the public, but we are offering curbside retail service and accepting labor appointments. We have a limited number of staff in the store in order to keep things very clean and sanitized as we work to serve our customers. In addition to calling first, we ask that when you are ready to check out that you pay for items over the phone using a card. We prefer not to take cash at this time. Q: Can I shop for a new bike now? Absolutely! New bike shopping can easily be done by appointment with us. Wanna just talk bikes on the phone? We love talking bikes! Wanna set a time to meet in person? We’ll meet you outside to talk bikes, and let you test ride any bikes that you are interested in. We’ve roped off a section of our parking lot just for you and a staff member to talk, and we’ll disinfect new bikes and their touch points as we bring them out for you. You can also browse and price new bikes on-line at the Santa Cruz, Juliana, and Trek websites. We are offering free local delivery of most new bikes to your doorstep. Q: Can I get my bike or skis worked on? Yes! Please call first, as we require an appointment for all services right now. Our bike techs are in very high demand now, so we ask for a $40 deposit in order to reserve you spot on our service calendar. In order to keep things safe, we also require that your bike be washed and cleaned by you in advance. This makes is easier for us to clean it again with alcohol when we accept it and again before one of our techs works on it. If your bike shows up dirty for an appointment we will not accept it. Q: Are you renting bikes right now? No, unfortunately we are not renting mountain bikes or accepting reservations for future mountain bike rentals at this time. If you are shopping for a new bike we do have some demo bikes available so you can try a new bike before you buy it. Ask us for details.

Q: Can I buy stuff right now? Absolutely! Please give us a call and a member of our staff will make sure we have what you need. Hard goods and bike parts and nutrition items are easy. Clothing and helmets and shoes are tricky (see below). Please note that right now we are doing a limited amount of special orders, but please ask us for details. Q: Can I shop for clothing right now? Kind of. If you know exactly what you want please call and we’ll have it ready for you. If you’d like to try on some things we recommend buying all of the items that you are interested in, and then returning any items that you don’t need later this year when we are open again. We have extended our return policy so that items that are new with tags and unworn can be easily returned when the time comes. Much of our clothing can be viewed here on

Q: Are any Pine University clinics or group rides happening soon? Probably not. We’ll be strictly adhering to the Governors recommendations on social distancing and we suspect that not much will change until June 14, at the earliest. We still have events on our calendar for the year, and we’ll keep updating the status of those events as they draw near.
