Are you interested in how those lovely groomed trails at Meissner Sno-Park happen? Join us on Tue Mar 29 for a personal, hour-long tour of the Meissner Sno-Park grooming operation…

When he’s not tuning skis and bikes at Pine Mountain Sports, or own Chris Bowman is one of the professional groomers at Meissner Sno-Park. Chris will give us an up-close and on the snow tour of the new, Meissner Snow-Cat and show us how he uses this massive piece of equipment to groom runs and extend the coverage of your favorite ski trails at Meissner. We’ll get a chance to see it in action and Chris will answer your questions about how the groomer works, required maintenance, how to follow the grooming schedule, and his secrets for getting the most out of the daily conditions.

We’ll meet in the parking lot up at Virginia Meissner Sno-Park. Look for us at the PineMobile and bring an empty cup for a hot chocolate to enjoy during our Field Trip. Allow yourself 30 minutes to get there from Bend and dress warm as we’ll be outside for the hour. Better yet, bring your skis and enjoy the trails before or after our tour.
