The Crash Reel Screening

Wednesday, March 14th @ 7:30 pm

Join Love Your Brain Foundation and The Center Foundation at Pine Mountain Sports for a fundraiser and screening of The Crash Reel.

Presented by The Center Foundation, our screening of The Crash Reel contains fifteen years of footage showing the epic rivalry between half-pipe legends Shaun White and Kevin Pearce, childhood friends who become number one and two in the world leading up to the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. Pushing one another to ever more dangerous tricks, Kevin crashes on a Park City half-pipe, barely surviving. As Kevin recovers from his injury, Shaun wins Gold. Now all Kevin wants to do is get on his snowboard again, even though doctors and family fear this could kill him.

The Love Your Brain Foundation was created by Kevin Pearce, this former Olympic Snowboarder who suffered a TBI while training for the 2010 Olympics. “The Crash Reel” is a documentary of his story.

The Center Foundation is providing athletic trainer support at high school events all over Central Oregon to identify concussions and get immediate treatment for student athletes.

Tickets are a minimum $10 donation and benefit Love Your Brain Foundation. Donations can be made on-line here, and those that donate over $10 will be given a ticket to The Crash Reel screening at Pine Mountain Sports. Tickets will also be available at the door the night of show.
