| $5

Yeah, we miss going to the movies, too! It’s been nearly a year since our last COTA Movie Night at McMenamins and in addition to missing you, we’re missing out on lots of new bike films! For 2021 Pine Mountain Sports and Central Oregon Trail Alliance will work to post some of our favorite bike films on-line, one a month, for us all to watch from home. View them any time, and take a moment to make a donation and/or renew your COTA membership! Here’s a link to our February film…

Join us in February for the story of Mike Rust: The Hall of Fame mountain biker who disappeared without a trace….

COTA Movie Night @ HOME presents The Rider & The Wolf (New Ending).

The Rider & The Wolf is a documentary about the life and mysterious disappearance of Mountain Bike Hall of Fame cyclist Mike Rust who went missing without a trace in the San Luis Valley of Colorado. Based out of Colorado Cyclery in the 1980s, Rust helped create and shape the mountain bike scene in the Upper Arkansas River Valley. Theories swirl around the reason for his mysterious disappearance, but his body had never been found. Until this film came out and the mystery took a new turn! Years ago we shows this film at McMenamins and since then, the mystery of his disappearance has been solved. This “Final Edit” of this film has now been updated with a new ending!

Directed and shot by award-winning cinematographer Nathan Ward of Grit and Thistle Film.

Run time: 60 minutes

Watch any time! Link to movie here.
