Pine Mountain Sports has two of our staff racing in the Blitz this year and we’re closing the store early (at 3P) so we can go cheer them on! Come out to The Blitz at Tetherow and holler for Jane Quinn and Henry’s tandem!

For those of us who are headed to watch The Blitz – the greatest point to point mountain bike race that ends with a giant jump, a beer chug, and an arm wrestling contest – at Tetherow on Wed June 14, we’d like to bring a good cause to your attention…

Pine Mountain Sports and Cog Wild are joining our friends from Parrilla Grill to serve up some tasty grub for you at the event – and Parrilla Grill is donating EVERY PENNY to Volunteers in Medicine Clinic of the Cascades-VIM. VIM provides healthcare on a donation basis to low-income, working adults who live in Central Oregon and have no medical insurance or means to pay for care… Yeah, they deserve all of our love, attention, and fund raising efforts!

What’s the plan? Bring your hungry crew up to Tetherow to watch The Blitz, and spend your dollars on some tasty grub at the Parilla Grill / Cog Wild / Pine Mountain Sports food tent!

Tacos (Chicken, Beef, Pork or Veggie): $3 each

You’ll find us on the golf course near the finish line and this will be your chance to buy dinner and donate directly to Volunteers in Medicine Clinic of the Cascades-VIM.
